Tasty starter to wow your guests! Don't forget bread to mop up the delicious garlicy butter!
Preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan if using bread
Ingredients
25g butter
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 red chilli seeds left in finely chopped
1/2 tsp paprika
12-20 king prawns raw
juice 1 lemon plus 1 lemon for serving
1.2 small bunch parsley roughly chopped
Rocket for serving
small crusty loaf warmed for dipping!
- Method
- Pop the loaf in the oven to warm while cook the prawns.
- Arrange rocket on plates as will be quick to cook and serve.
Melt the butter and oil together in a frying pan. Turn up the heat a little and throw in the prawns turning over to coat in the mix.
Add the garlic, chilli and paprika.
When the prawns are pink take off the heat, season and stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
Plate up and slice some bread to go along side.
