Easy tea time treat!


Ingredients
400g / 14 oz digestive biscuits
60g / 2oz caster sugar
4 heaped tablespoons golden syrup
17g / 6oz butter or margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa powder (seived)
vanilla essence - a few drops
5 oz sultanas
175g / 6 oz chocolate (melted) 
85g /3 oz white chocolate to drizzle (optional)

Method
Line a small baking tin with greaseproof paper
Crush biscuits in a large sandwich bag using rolling pin


Melt syrup, sugar and butter in microwave in a medium sized bowl
Add seived cocoa and vailla essence and stir well.
Add crushed biscuits and sultanas then stir to combine.
Scrape into a baking tin and flatten down firmly.
Pour melted chocolate over the top
Drizzle the white chocolate over the top
Chill in fridge for 45 mins then cover with foil.
Cut into squares and refrigerate until you eat.
