Overnight Oats or Bircher

You don’t need to leave overnight - half an hour will do it! It’s really a case of adding what you have in your cupboard - here is my recipe:



Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

2 cups rolled oats

1 3/4 cups milk

1/4 cup apple or orange juice

1 apple cored and grated

1 tbsp honey 

Pinch  of cinnamon 

Toppings eg: cranberries, pistachio kernels (unsalted!) sunflower seeds, desiccated coconut, sultanas

Fresh fruit and yogurt to serve 

Method:

Combine oats, milk, juice in a bowl and refrigerate overnight  

In the morning add grated apple, honey, cinnamon, and mix well.

Top with your favorite fruits and yoghurt
