Quick Crunchy Croutons



  • Half a ciabatta loaf 
  • 2tbsp tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp oregano 
  • Sea salt

  • Method

    • Step 1

      Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Cube the ciabatta into large chunks for large croutons. Put the oil and herbs and sprinkle

      Of sea salt in a bowl. Mix then top bread in and using hands make sure the bread is generously covered in salty oil and herb mix.

       

    • Step 2

      Spread out on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 mins until golden and crisp. 

      Cool in a piece of kitchen roll to absorb extra oil. Sprinkle on soup or a salad for added crunch.
