Honey garlic pan fried chicken

Serve with baked or roasted potatoes or rice with green veg of choice - it's up to you!

Spoon drizzling Honey Garlic Sauce over Chicken breast

Serves 4


Ingredients

4 chicken breasts
salt and pepper to season
Olive oil spray
50g butter
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/3 cup honey - or maple syrup for a change

Method

Bash the chicken breasts with a rolling pin between 2 sheets of clingfilm to an even thickness. Season with salt and pepper and spray with olive oil spray.

Sear in a hot frying pan on either side for a couple of mins then turn heat down to low. 

Melt the butter around the chicken then add garlic and stir.

Add vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Stir/shake the pan to combine. Bring to a simmer.

Turn the chicken to coat the sauce until cooked. 

Remove from stove and serve chicken breasts with sauce drizzled over
